No risk to children or animals: Abby uses the same methods as other magicians to make animals appear, disappear, and transform. Unknown to the public, magical methods cause stress and sometimes injury to live animals.

Not so with puppets. If a child yanks on a puppet -- no harm done -- it won't feel pain.
