This puppet variety show is a hit with children under age seven. All of the animals appearing in this traveling "petting zoo" are puppets. As such they are more colorful, lively, expressive, funny and interactive than live animals. The puppet show includes music, magic and lots of comedy. Each critter pulls stunts that spark giggles, belly laughs and squeals of delight. Most of the puppets attempt magic tricks. Some of them succeed, and others fail hilariously.
"This was the funniest puppet show I've ever seen. I'm a nanny, and this is my fourth family, and I've seen a lot of puppet shows, and this was the funniest I have ever seen."
The cuteness and goofiness of these puppets surpass live rabbits and doves used by other magicians. And there is the same wonderment as with traditional dove or rabbit magic, because Abby produces and vanishes puppets with the same awe-inspiring techniques that magicians use with live animals. The puppets are safe to touch, and one of the tamer ones lets the children pet him. Their reactions are just precious. The puppets are as clean as animals get, producing no droppings, and each puppet comes out one at a time so as not to overwhelm the smallest members of the audience.
In the Silly Monster Puppet Show, things go hysterically wrong as Abby trains five cute monsters: Snowy, Hoo, Uh-Uh, Rahhr and Grizzle. This show starts with a comedic introduction inspired by the famous Who-Is-on-First routine. Then Abby tries to civilize the monsters with limited success and very funny results. Clicker training goes awry. So does using monster treats. Even hypnosis fails. And they all fail in very funny ways. The monsters interact with the audience and perform pranks, stunts and magic, sparking both laughter and awe. The children even get to pet one of the monsters.
As with all Abby London shows, music is part of the Silly Monster Puppet Show.
It is a polished, professional, theatrical treat which delights children up to age 7.
